I could be mistaken but I believe there are a few standard sizes to pick from but in general yes, they should be standardized

Yes, there are a few different sizes, but relatively standardized.
There is the issue that they have been made available surplus for longer than most of us have been alive so there are likely a large variety out there in existence now.

O ur fiddy and M249 etc.. 5.56 were the same. I was thinking of getting some bigger rocket boxes for my truck.
